Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group in Frankfort, KY seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform screening mammograms and support diagnostic x-ray and dexa imaging in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Under limited supervision, you will execute Mammography/Bone Density procedures, maintain patient-centered care, and ensure high-quality imaging. Required ARRT certification with advanced Mammography registry and BLS; eligible candidates have 18 months training post-school.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic program or ARRT certification in radiography.
• Advanced Mammography registry required; eligible candidates must obtain Mammography certification within one year of employment.
• Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
• Experience: Eligible upon graduation or after 18 months of training with licensure permission.

Responsibilities

• With limited supervision, executes Mammography/Bone Density procedures in assigned areas.
• Performs screening mammograms and supports diagnostic x-ray and DEXA imaging.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:

• Graduate of an accredited program [i.e. the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)] or Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography (ARRT) required.
• Advanced registry in Mammography required. Eligible candidates are required to obtain mammography certification within one year of employment.
• Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate.
• Experience: Eligible upon graduation or completion of 18 months of training with the schools/State licensure permission.
