Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Mammographer to actively perform specialized radiographic imaging to support radiologists in diagnosis and treatment. This role includes direct patient care, safety initiatives, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The position requires ARRT certification, mammography certification, and state licensure/fluoroscopy permit, with travel between imaging facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• Current ARRT certification.
• Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.
• Current experience as a radiology technologist.
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.
• Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.
• Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision of the Director of Radiology Services, the Mammographer actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders.
• The Mammographer will participate in direct patient care, facility quality and safety initiatives as well as local and federal regulations.
• Assist with complex and sensitive patient and patient family issues.
• Ensures quality and safe delivery of care to patients of all ages.

• Schedule: Full time days 7:30 an-6:00 pm Every other Saturday, Sundays optional. No Holidays.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $36.00/hr to $55.00/hr.
