Job summary

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a Mammographer to perform routine mammography and educate patients on breast self-examination under supervision. You will assist Radiologists and help keep the department running efficiently, while maintaining high-quality imaging standards for adults and geriatric patients.

The role requires ARRT registration or eligibility, mammography experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• One year radiographer experience required.
• Mammography certification preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography and assists Radiologists as needed.
• Positions patients and ensures image quality; determines if ultrasound is needed.
• Instructs patients on breast self-examination and education.
• Assists in biopsy procedures and specimen handling.
• Maintains equipment, rooms, and imaging workflow.
• Supports department efficiency and data management.
