Job summary

Salem Health is seeking a Mammographer and Radiology Technologist for the Woodburn Medical Clinic. You’ll perform mammography and diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensure patient safety, and maintain image quality, while documenting histories and using EPIC, PACS, and radiology workflows.

This full-time, 40-hour/week role requires ARRT radiology and OBMI radiography licensure, BLS, and ARRt Mammography certification within six months. Prior x-ray and mammography experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiology licensure required.
• ARRT Mammography certification within six months of hire.
• Oregon OBMI radiography license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and diagnostic X-ray procedures with appropriate technique and exposure factors.
• Evaluate image quality and completeness; obtain additional views as needed.
• Document patient histories, symptoms, and exam details for medical records.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, follow protocols and maintain equipment.
• Use EPIC, PACS and radiology workflow applications for scheduling and documentation.
• Adhere to ALARA and safety policies; collaborate with radiologists and care teams.
