Job summary

Qualifications

• CA Radiologic Technologist licensure and Mammography certification required.
• ARRT certification required and current.
• Minimum six months recent Radiologic Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality breast images.
• Positions patients with careful attention to compression and comfort.
• Communicates clearly with patients and staff at all times.
• Schedules screening and follow-up mammography exams and related procedures.
• Performs quality control for mammography equipment per CA and MSQA requirements.
• Observes HIPAA and department policies and procedures.
• Exercises clinical judgment within scope of practice.
