Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist - Mammography to perform a wide variety of routine and specialized procedures under supervision, and to participate in QA and image archiving. This per diem position will work at multiple diagnostic and screening locations in the Madison area, with shifts Monday–Friday and weekend options.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, training others, and supporting image processing, while maintaining high quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification Upon Hire Required
• Wisconsin Radiologic License Upon Hire Required
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification within 30 months Required
• CPR certification within 3 months Required

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine, complex and specialized procedures under the supervision of the section Team Lead and Radiology Manager.
• Provide basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
• Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
• Coordinate and actively participate in the training of other Imaging technologists, fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and serve as a clinical instructor for affiliated imaging training programs and assist in training other Imaging technologists.
