Job summary

Atria is a leading preventive health care practice delivering cutting-edge primary and specialty care. We seek a Radiology Technologist with DEXA mammography experience to join our New York team and support imaging across modalities while maintaining the highest safety standards.

This role requires NYS licensure and ARRT registration, plus 2+ years in DEXA mammography. Excellent communication and patient care are essential for success in our multidisciplinary, home-based and clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical school diploma required.
• Current New York State license required.
• Current ARRT registration required.
• 2+ years’ experience as a Radiation Technologist for DEXA Mammography.
• Experience with other modalities is a plus.
• Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Assume responsibility for the safety of the patient during the imaging and communicate in a manner appropriate to the patient’s ability to understand.
• Refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional.
• May help the team by performing other imaging modalities (MRI Focus, and CT).

Essential Job Duties

• Preference for multiple modality certification (Dexa / CT)

• Except as authorized by clinical management, refer specific diagnostic, treatment or prognosis questions to the appropriate physician or healthcare professional
• May help the team by performing other imaging modalities (MRI Focus, and CT)

Compensation Range

$120,000 - $140,000
