Job summary

RadNet in Maryland is seeking a Mammography Technologist/Radiologic Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team. You will perform mammographic and radiologic exams, ensure high-quality diagnostic images, and maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and BLS; 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with monthly Saturday rotation; excellent benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate mammographic and radiologic equipment following policies and protocols.
• Perform high-quality radiologic exams on incoming patients.
• Produce diagnostic images promptly while delivering excellent patient care.
• Understand and adjust equipment settings (compression, KvP, mAs, grid, AEC, etc.) to optimize image quality.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or problems.
• Guide patients through the exam process with clear communication.
• Answer physician questions and support patient needs.

Job description

When you join us as a Mammography Technologist/ Radiologic Technologist , you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with monthly Saturday rotation

You Will

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices with adherence to established company policies and protocols.
• Perform high quality radiologic exams on incoming patients.
• Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
• Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Monitor patients’ well- being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

Pay Range: $34.00 - $45.00 / Hourly
