Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, seeks a Mammography Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging and assist in accreditation efforts. You will follow MQSA guidelines, maintain EMR/PACS documentation, and ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering accurate studies.

Requirements include ARRT RT(M)(ARRT) and RT(R)(ARRT) licenses, BLS certification, and 1+ year of experience in mammography. The role supports a dynamic breast imaging team with patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mammography and Diagnostic Radiological Procedures/Positions.
• Ability to determine appropriate technical factors.
• Knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations and imaging safety.
• Ability to read, write and speak conversational English.
• Experience with EMR/PACS workflows and image quality documentation.
• Licensure: BLS, ARRT RT(M)(ARRT) and RT(R)(ARRT) as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D and 3D mammography exams per orders and protocols.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and clear patient communication during procedures.
• Maintain equipment, QC checks, and inventory; document results in EMR/PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and breast imaging team for timely results.
• Adhere to MQSA, FDA, and accreditation standards and participate in quality initiatives.
