Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Specializes in screening and diagnostic mammograms for detection of breast tumors.
• Obtains patient history and explains procedures to comfort patients.
• Operates and maintains all mammography equipment to ensure proper function.
• Positions patients and adjusts exposure factors to capture requested images.
• Performs quality assurance and practices radiation safety to minimize exposure.
• Maintains documentation and logs in paper and electronic formats.
