Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic breast and bone density imaging under radiologist supervision. Deliver high-quality images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include image evaluation, post-processing, and collaboration with physicians to support accurate diagnoses, while complying with ALARA and Wellstar policies.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology required.
• Experience with breast imaging preferred; ARRT Mammography certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast and bone density imaging per department protocol.
• Evaluate image quality and perform post-processing.
• Ensure proper patient identification and safety during procedures.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and protocol adherence.
• Maintain ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
