Harper College’s Radiologic Technology Program seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach mammography and lead clinical education. The role involves delivering didactic and clinical instruction, maintaining up-to-date teaching practices, and supporting student success in a collaborative health careers environment.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, IL licensure, and an associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Registered ARRT (R)(M) certification is required.
• Licensed in Illinois (IEMA) is required.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach one didactic and one mammography course during each fall and spring semesters.
• Lead/participate in a six-week biweekly didactic course.
• Lead the clinical education portion of the mammography certificate program for 10 weeks.
• Maintain commitment to student engagement, success, and instructional excellence.
• Maintain current teaching methodologies and use varied delivery methods and resources.
• Maintain expertise and certifications appropriate to teaching responsibilities.
• Grade and provide timely feedback on all assignments.
• Respond to student emails/requests within 24 hours.
• Provide course syllabus with grading standards and policies.
• Verify student enrollment and submit grades.
