Job summary

Shared Medical Services in Minnesota seeks a Mammographer to join a growing radiology team. Work on a state‑of‑the‑art mobile mammography unit, serving local communities, as part of a stable, full‑time, employee‑owned organization.

The role offers Monday–Friday schedules with no weekends or on‑call, plus paid initial training and opportunities for professional growth. You will collaborate with another mammographer or an assistant and drive the mobile unit to screening sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registered with ARRT, American Registry of Clinical Radiologic Technologists or Licensed to perform general radiographic procedures.
• Prefer 40 hours of training in mammography. Willing to train.
• Ability to drive or experience driving equivalent to 26’ straight truck. Willing to train.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with limited supervision.
• Must be able to interact in responsible, professional and ethical manner.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid Class D Drivers’ License. CDL NOT REQUIRED
• Must have acceptable driving record
• Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical
• Must have critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Mammographer to join our growing team. Unlike typical travel roles, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state‑of‑the‑art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities. This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable, full‑time, employee‑centric organization. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM.

New to Mammography? We offer paid initial training to help you get started in this rewarding specialty.
