Riverside Health System in Newport News, VA seeks a Mammographer to perform mammography exams, prepare patients, and document procedures per policy. The role supports only daytime hours with weekends rotating, at the Riverside Oyster Point Diagnostic Center.

You will work under RHS policies, ensuring ALARA safety, regulatory compliance, and high-quality imaging while coordinating patient care and maintaining supplies.

Qualifications

• Mammography experience preferred.
• ARRT Radiology (R) certification required upon hire.
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification within 2 years.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Completes mammographic imaging studies and presents them for diagnosis.
• Produces quality images following appropriate protocols and procedures.
• Provides clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• Performs with a high degree of safety and quality; applies ALARA principles.
• Prepares equipment, instrumentation, and supplies to support quality patient care.
• Follows applicable regulatory and accrediting standards.
• Coordinates patient care and performs effective assessment and documentation.
• Maintains inventory to ensure non-interruption of services.
• Performs equipment quality control measurements and troubleshooting.
