Job summary

OU Medicine is seeking a Mammographer for the Breast Health Network in Northwest Oklahoma City. This PRN role performs diagnostic mammography exams and ensures high-quality imaging in outpatient settings, under general supervision and with patient-centered care.

The position requires ARRT(RT)(M) certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of mammography experience. You will collaborate with providers and staff to deliver timely results and maintain accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging/radiology program as defined by ARRT.
• 1 year of mammography experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• ARRT(RT)(M) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, performs diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by a care provider.
• Prepares patients for procedures and reviews clinical history.
• Communicates with patients and families regarding testing and expected result timelines.
• Transfers images to the EHR and prepares studies for physician reporting.
• Performs quality control checks and equipment maintenance per guidelines.
