Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Mammographer/Bone Densit Radiographer on a per diem, day-shift basis to cover vacations and call-ins at the 1340 Charles St Clinic. The role includes rotating Saturdays and 8-hour shifts with varied start times, with additional compensation for evenings, nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call pay.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT in Radiology, Mammography certification within 24 months, an IEMA license, and BLS/CPR within three months of hire.

Qualifications

  • Completion of accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
  • ARRT Radiology certification required
  • Mammography ARRT certification required within 24 months of hire
  • IEMA license required
  • BLS/CPR certification required within three months of hire
  • Mammography ARRT certification preferred

Mammographer/Bone Dens Radiographer (Finance)
Work Schedule

Per Diem, varied schedule. Day shift. Variable M-F to cover vacations and call ins. 8-hour shifts with ranging start times from 630am-830am. Rotating Saturdays 7am-noon. You will work at the 1340 Charles St Clinic.

Additional components of compensation may include:
  • Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
  • Overtime

Qualifications

Work Experience
  • Experience as a Radiographer and Mammographer. Preferred
  • Experience in Bone densitometry. Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Certification by ARRT in Radiology. Required
  • Mammography certification from ARRT within 24 months of hire. Required
  • Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within three (3) months of hire. Required
  • Certificate by ARRT in Mammography. Preferred
