Favorite Healthcare Staffing Inc. is assisting a Greensboro, NC imaging center to recruit a Mammography Technologist for a full-time, permanent position in outpatient radiology.

The role encompasses performing mammography exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and documenting every exam in the EMR. Competitive pay ranges from $34-$51 per hour, with a full benefits package and a Monday–Friday day schedule, no weekends or nights.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Graduate of Radiology, Imaging or related program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) registered and ARRT (M) certified (or willing to obtain mammography certification within 90 days).
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing mammography exams.
• Strong knowledge of mammography positioning, imaging protocols and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography exams using proper protocols and positioning techniques, transporting patients safely, verifying orders and documenting patient information.
• Document the patient’s exam through data entry, report retrieval, scanning and recording the exam details in the electronic medical record system.
• Conduct environmental and safety procedures including cleaning and maintaining the exam room and equipment; evaluate and maintain supply levels and practice safe patient maneuvers.
• Obtain high-quality mammographic images while ensuring patient comfort, safety and privacy throughout the examination.

REQUIREMENTS
