Job summary

ARA Diagnostic Imaging in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform all mammographic procedures according to standard protocols. You will ensure patient comfort, proper positioning, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines.

The role requires ARRT certification and Texas state licensure, completion of an AMA-accredited radiologic technology program, and strong teamwork with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA Council of Education–accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Texas Medical Board state certification.
• Ability to work efficiently and courteously with clinical personnel and patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs all mammographic procedures per department procedures.
• Ensures appropriate patient care and recognizes conditions essential for quality radiologic procedures.
• Maintains quality assurance records and credentialing requirements (ACR, State, etc.).
• Ensures proper anatomical orientation and image identification on all images.
• Adheres to radiation safety principles (ALARA).
