Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologists in special procedures for the early detection of breast abnormalities.

This role supports a multidisciplinary imaging team and contributes to patient-centered care in a leading acute-care hospital recognized for excellence in nursing and patient safety. On-site work with a collaborative culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets MQSA guidelines.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• ARRT (M) certification; ARRT (R) certification required.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• 1 year work experience in radiologic imaging.
• ARRT (R) license; employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of orientation.

Your Job:

In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the Mammography Technologist position is to perform quality mammography procedures and assist Radiologist in special procedures for the purpose and early detection of breast abnormalities.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification — ARRT (M)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (M) license within 1 year of completing orientation.
