Clinical Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Follow standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrate leadership abilities and be a role model for other associate technologists. Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assure current standards of practice for the unit. Provide assistance during interventional breast procedures.

Job Requirements

• One Year Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, or Bone Density experience, preferred
• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Associate's degree strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• ARRT(R) registered, required
• One of the following registries required (dependent on hospital/locations): ARRT (M) and/or ARRT (BS) or ARDMS (BR) required OR Breast Imaging Navigator (NCBC certified) OR Bone Density certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from American Heart Association

Physical Requirements: Medium Work – Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.

Pay Range

$34.56 - $50.14 /hour
