Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Atlanta is seeking a Mammography Radiologic Technologist to operate mammography equipment for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. You will perform a range of studies with autonomy and under indirect supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

The ideal candidate is ARRT registered, holds or will obtain Mammography certification within 1 year, and meets ACR/FDA/MQSA standards. Prior experience and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the ARRT.
• Certified in Mammography or will be within 1 year of hire per standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment to produce radiographs for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Performs needle localization and ductograms as required.
• Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Responsibilities

Operates mammography equipment to produce radiographs of adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. This position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Certified in Mammography (or will be within 1 year of hire) meeting requirements to perform mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA standards.

PREFERRED

• Prior experience in mammography.
• Holds American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

8:00 - 4:30
