Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform specialized breast imaging and support diagnosis and treatment. You will operate mammographic radiographic equipment and participate in advanced procedures such as stereotactic and MRI-guided biopsies, delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training, at least 1 year of Mammography experience, ARDMS/ARRT radiography and

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of Mammography experience required.

Responsibilities

The Mammography Technologist performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in patients. The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic radiographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate. Demonstrates ability to perform advance breast imaging procedures such as stereotactic and MRI biopsies and is competent/proficient with sterile procedures. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
