Erias Ventures, LLC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of a mission-critical platform in AWS. You will design automation, monitor infrastructure health, and troubleshoot production issues across cloud environments.

The role emphasizes Docker/Kubernetes orchestration, Python scripting, and infrastructure as code, with partial telework available and a focus on security and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years demonstrated experience in application design and development, to include back-end database architectures, relational or cloud-based, and full lifecycle software development.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using CloudFormation.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation to support reliability, performance, and scalability of a mission-critical platform.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate with development teams to improve stability.
• Improve system resiliency, operational efficiency, and security through automation and best practices.

Description

Join a team responsible for the reliability, performance, and scalability of a mission-critical platform. Design and implement automation, monitor infrastructure health, and troubleshoot production issues across AWS environments. Work closely with development teams to improve system stability, resiliency, and operational efficiency. Support modern engineering practices that reduce manual effort and strengthen service delivery.

This position allows for partial telework.

Clearance

Any level of clearance is preferred. Candidate can also be sponsored under this position, must be clearable.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years' experience.
