Job summary

Set of X is seeking highly skilled security engineers to analyze and reverse-engineer malware and APTs. You will identify vulnerabilities across software, hardware, and networks, and develop automation scripts to enhance threat detection.

You will document findings and contribute to incident response and forensic investigations while staying current on emerging threats. The role requires independent work, collaboration with intelligence teams, and a strong technical foundation in assembly,

Qualifications

• 12 yrs. experience and a B.S. in a technical discipline.
• Proficiency with assembly, C/C++, Python, and scripting for analysis automation.
• Experience with disassembly and debugging tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare2, OllyDbg, WinDbg).
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux, macOS internals and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, dissect, and reverse-engineer malware and APTs to uncover functionality and impact.
• Identify vulnerabilities across software, hardware, and networks and develop tools.
• Document findings and produce detailed technical reports for internal teams and federal partners.
• Support incident response and forensic investigations to protect critical systems.
