Job summary

Language Link seeks Maltese↔English translators for Medical/Lifesciences, Regulatory and Pharma content. You will translate, proofread, validate corrections and finalize post-QA projects in this specialized area.

Requirements include native or near-native Maltese, strong English (US/UK) skills, experience with translation workflows, and memoQ familiarity. This is a contract, non-management role in the Translation department.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Maltese.
• Strong command of English (US/UK).
• Experience with Translation, Proofreading, Validation of Corrections, and Finalising post-QA workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate, proofread and validate medical/life sciences content from English to Maltese and back, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Finalize post-QA corrections and close out projects in Pharma, Regulatory and related domains.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Maltese
• Strong command of English US/UK (source language)
• Experience with Translation, Proofreading, Validation of Corrections, and Finalising post-QA workflows
• Familiarity with memoQ is required
• Previous experience with Medical/Lifesciences, Regulatory, and/or Pharma content is strongly preferred
• Must successfully complete a short medical translation test to assess understanding of specialized medical content
