Job summary

West Ridge Mall is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to ensure the cleanliness of all public areas within the mall. Under supervision, you will uphold cleanliness standards and enhance the shopper experience.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, and spill management. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, with good communication skills and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Good physical stamina for lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust designated areas including restrooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Empty trash and replace liners as needed.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities (toilets, sinks, mirrors).
• Monitor cleaning supply needs and reorder as necessary.
• Respond promptly to spills and emergencies.
• Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor with patrons and team members.
