Job summary

The Piqua Center is seeking reliable individuals for a part-time housekeeping role to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for mall visitors, tenants, and staff.

Shifts include 11a-8p Monday through Saturday and 12/Noon-7p Sunday. No previous experience is required, but some housekeeping or janitorial work is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Regularly lift, move and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of common areas, including floors, restrooms, food courts, entrances, elevators, and escalators.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Wipe down surfaces such as handrails, benches, windows, and glass doors.
• Respond to cleaning emergencies promptly (e.g., spills, restroom issues).
• Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures).
• Assist with setup and cleaning for mall events or seasonal displays.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays

Available Work Shifts:
