Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a specimen collector or 1+ year in medical field.
• 2+ years in customer service can substitute medical experience.
• Ability to navigate smartphone and computer.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• HIPAA/HiTrust compliance knowledge.
• Location-specific credentialing requirements.
• Background checks and screenings will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens.
• Process and package collections for shipping.
• Serve as liaison between practice and laboratory.
• Record patient information and clinician orders accurately.
• Resolve specimen concerns in the ordering portal.
• Maintain collection supplies inventory on-site.
• Observe collections to ensure quality and compliance.
• May require driving between facilities.
