Traders Village in Houston, TX is seeking a weekend Men’s Restroom Attendant. Starting pay is $12 per hour, with Saturdays and Sundays 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

You will clean and maintain the men’s restrooms to keep them safe and welcoming for guests. This role requires attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and supplies, including stocking toilet paper, soap, and towels, disposing waste, and reporting maintenance issues to management.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required (Saturdays and Sundays).
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Comfortable working around cleaning products and odors.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect and clean men's restrooms during shifts.
• Sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, and countertops; ensure surfaces are clean.
• Sweep and mop floors; address spills promptly and safely.
• Keep mirrors, doors, walls, and partitions clean and intact.
• Stock toilet paper, towels, and soap dispensers as needed.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Respond promptly to restroom cleaning needs during busy periods.
• Place wet-floor signs and follow safety procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain organized cleaning supplies and storage areas.
• Notify supervisor of plumbing issues, damaged fixtures, or safety hazards.
• Complete end-of-day cleaning and secure areas.

Men’s Restroom Attendant

Starting Pay: $12/hr

Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Additional Availability: Hours may extend depending on market closing time.

Position Overview

The Men’s Restroom Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the men’s restrooms at Traders Village throughout the weekend. This role requires ongoing attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and supplies to ensure restrooms remain safe and welcoming for guests.

Candidates must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect and clean restrooms throughout the day.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, and other frequently touched surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors, promptly addressing spills and wet areas.
• Clean mirrors, doors, walls, and restroom partitions.
• Keep toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers stocked.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Respond promptly to restroom cleaning needs during busy periods.
• Place wet-floor signs and follow proper cleaning and safety procedures.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep cleaning supplies organized and properly stored.
• Notify the Supervisor/Manager of plumbing problems, damaged fixtures, safety hazards, or low supplies.
• Complete end-of-day cleaning and secure assigned areas when required.
• Perform other related cleaning duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Ability to work around cleaning products and their odors while following required safety procedures.
