Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an experienced CNC machinist for a 3rd shift (10:30 PM Sunday–6:30 AM Friday). The role involves operating Makino CNC machines to fabricate parts, loading parts, running production lots, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Required are a high school diploma or GED (associates preferred), 3+ years manufacturing experience, 2+ years CNC experience, blueprint reading, and basic shop math.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED; Associates degree in Machining Technology is highly preferred.
• At least three years of work experience in a manufacturing operation is required
• At least two years of machining experience required; CNC experience is highly preferred
• Uses hand tools and production equipment appropriate to the work performed.
• Blue print reading skills required.
• Basic shop math required (decimals, addition, subtraction, fractions)
• Attendance on the job is essential.
• Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
• Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operates computer numerical control machines (Makino) to fabricate parts.
• Loads parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations.
• Runs production lots and communicates with co-workers regarding production runs.
• Maintains safe, organized, and clean work environment.
• Interprets blue prints, drawings, and work orders.
