Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or GED; Assoc. degree in Machining Technology highly preferred.
• At least three years of work experience in a manufacturing operation.
• At least two years of machining experience required; CNC experience preferred.
• Uses hand tools and production equipment.
• Blue print reading skills required.
• Basic shop math.
• Attendance on the job is essential.
• Team oriented and able to follow instructions and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines (Makino) to fabricate parts and load parts in the machine.
• Run production lots and communicate with co-workers regarding production runs.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing and sanding as required.
• Interpret blue prints and work orders; set up and inspect tools and fixtures.
• Program edits and adjust MMC for center; perform first piece sheet and audits.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment; follow SOPs and safety policies.
• Conduct SPC data collection, charts and graphs; keep production counts accurate.
