Keene State College, part of the University System of New Hampshire, seeks a SPDI Workspace Manager/Educator to oversee hands-on fabrication labs and support faculty and student projects.

The role includes instruction in fabrication, prototyping, and manufacturing processes; equipment maintenance; and assistance with curriculum development and student recruitment activities. On-site position with emphasis on safety and a collaborative academic environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience.
• Hands-on fabrication, prototyping, woodworking or manufacturing experience.
• Experience instructing or training others in equipment operation and safety.

Mansioni

• Provide hands-on instruction in fabrication, prototyping, manufacturing processes, and safe equipment operation.
• Assist faculty with curriculum development and laboratory preparation.
• Supervise open lab sessions and mentor student workers.
• Train and supervise student workers and support new faculty using SPDI workspaces.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and coordinate repairs of fabrication equipment.
• Manage equipment access, safety procedures, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate equipment installation, upgrades, and workspace improvements.
• Support faculty and students in lab-based courses and projects.
