Job summary

Qualifications

• BFA degree in a related field is required and one year of work-related experience preferred in an academic shop/lab/studio environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• CPR and First Aid certification and OSHA standards familiarity are expected.

Responsibilities

• Conducts standardized safety and technical demonstrations for students, faculty and staff.
• Assists and advises students on project production, tool use and safe completion of projects.
• Maintains shop/lab/studio space, performs general upkeep and follows department procedures.
