High Plains Library District seeks a Creative Technology Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the library's innovation maker spaces, manage staff, and develop age-appropriate programming across multiple branches in Colorado. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Media Studies, Environmental Design, Engineering, Fine Arts, Art Education, Computer Science, Communication or other closely related field.
• Three years of similar or related experience.
• Experience teaching hands-on making activities in formal or informal settings with laser cutting and engraving, 3D printing and scanning, fiber arts, digital design software; vector-based design software (Inkscape preferred) and related maker space technology.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Aufgaben

• Supervises daily operations and staff in a department, coordinates maker spaces and equipment, and develops age-appropriate programming.
• Travel between branches and collaborate with staff remotely.
• Supervises daily operations by organizing resources, communicating information to staff, and ensuring proper functioning of the unit.
• Sets performance objectives, observes and documents performance, and trains staff.
• Selects staff through interviewing, assesses qualifications, and recommends hires.
• Collaborates with peers and other departments to coordinate district priorities and projects.
• Develops and delivers maker and innovation programming at locations across the district.
