Job summary

The Tipton Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician to maintain and improve our apartment community. You will support day-to-day maintenance, handle turnovers, and assist with electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks to keep residents satisfied.

Responsibilities include 24-hour on-call support, grounds work, and coordinating with residents and staff. A high school diploma and hands-on tool use are required, with experience in make‑ready tasks preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least one year of make-ready/groundskeeper experience.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

The Job

Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day‑to‑day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Assist in completing the turnovers/make‑readies of vacant units
• Being on‑call for 24‑hour maintenance emergencies

The Details

Our Make Ready Technicians should meet the following criteria:
