Job summary

Gables seeks a Make-Ready Technician in Watertown, MA to prepare new residents' homes for move-in. You will repair, paint, and finish units, ensuring a sparkling appearance and top-quality readiness.

Collaborating with the service team, you will manage to-do lists, oversee contractors, and support maintenance as needed while contributing to a positive resident experience. Eligible for health, vision, dental, and retirement benefits, plus a housing discount.

Responsibilities

• Fill nail holes, repair sheetrock, paint, and prepare new homes for move-in.

• Schedule vendors and oversee outsourced work to ensure completion per standards.
• Support service team and assist with overflow tasks as needed.

The Role

As a Make-Ready Technician, you are responsible for creating an exciting and memorable move in experience for all new residents. As an integral member of the service team, you will work prepare our future residents' new homes to fill nail holes, repair sheetrock, paint, and so much more! Your attention to detail will help the team troubleshoot repairs and upkeep so that the community and apartment homes maintain a sparkling appearance.

• Self-sufficient, your ability to manage your to-do list while assisting the service team with any overflow of repairs needed makes you an essential part of the team.

• Experienced in scheduling vendors while providing oversight of contracted services to ensure that any outsourced work is complete to company standards.
• A team-player who is comfortable lending a hand when the service team is in need of additional help maintaining the community.
