Job summary

BSR REIT is seeking a Make Ready Technician in Round Rock, TX to perform general maintenance and prepare vacant apartments for new residents. You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, respond to work orders, and ensure pools and common areas are well maintained.

The role requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and EPA/HVAC certification is preferred. A full-time, day-shift schedule with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 40 hours per week.
• 2-3 years general maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, swimming pools and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment community.
• Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents.
• Responds to work orders in a timely manner.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• HVAC troubleshooting and repairs.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Lock installation and repairs.
• Maintain and upkeep all pools on property.
• Maintain grounds and common areas to remain free of debris and trash.
• Minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and appliance installation/repairs.
