Job summary

SimplyHome is seeking a Make Ready Technician who is professional, organized, and focused on delivering a 5-Star customer experience. This role will inspect properties, perform handyman tasks, pressure wash, landscaping, and assist with irrigation training to obtain a license.

You will be responsible for making ready rentals by performing landscaping, cleaning, minor fence repairs, and coordinating with residents. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Experience in single-family or multi-family rental industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping, cleaning, and minor repairs as part of Make Ready tasks.
• Operate a power washer and clean dirt from exterior surfaces.
• Remove trash and debris from inside and outside the home.
• Assist with irrigation-related repairs as needed.
• Be available for on-call, weekends, and evenings.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Reports to: Irrigation and Make Ready Manager

Status:Full Time / Hourly / Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

SimplyHome is seeking a Make Ready Technician who is professional, organized, and focused on delivering 5-Star customer experience. This position will inspect, conduct handyman work, pressure wash, and conduct landscaping on single family residential homes. Basic handyman knowledge is preferred, and knowledge of irrigation systems is a plus. Will provide Irrigation training in order to obtain a license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Landscaping tasks that arerequiredon Make Ready rentals. Pulling weeds and mulching, trimming vegetation, and planting bushes or trees.


• Ability tooperateand handle a powerwasher andclean dirt and grim from flatwork orsiding.


• Removing trash and debris from inside or outside the home during Make Readies.


• Making minor repairs to fences in gates.


• Potential to make irrigation repairs.


• Available for on-call service, weekends and evenings as needed.


• Performs other relatedduties asassigned by management.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to interact with residents and colleagues tactfully and professionally.


• Ability to climb up and down stairs several times eachday andlift 50 pounds with ease.


• Self-starter that can effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment withabilitytoprioritize andmeet deadlines.


• Strong communication,problem-solvingand interpersonal skills


• High levelof professionalism and the ability to work with and manage a team.


• Ability to drive with a trailer preferred.


• Must alwayspossessa valid driver’s license and valid vehicle insurance with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUIs in the last 5 years.

• Excellent time management skills, detail-orientation and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
