Job summary

The NRP Group is seeking a Make Ready Technician in Austin, TX to support the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. You will maintain grounds, perform housekeeping services, and respond to service requests to ensure high quality apartment homes and excellent curb appeal.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments, walk the property daily, communicate safety concerns, and keep detailed task records. Training and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior custodial, housekeeping, or apartment experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections and janitorial services as assigned.
• Assist with storage area and maintenance materials.
• Refurbish and renovate apartments per company standards.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality.
• Notify the Community Manager of safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of tasks completed.
• In Community Manager's absence, handle maintenance tasks including staffing, scheduling, ordering supplies, and coordinating improvements.
• Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards.

Overview

The NRP Group is a full‑service multifamily developer, general contractor, and property manager. As a Make Ready Technician, you will work under the direction of the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to maintain grounds and housekeeping services, ensuring excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes, and responding to service requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and janitorial services as assigned.
• Assist with maintenance of storage area and maintenance materials.
• Perform refurbishing and renovation of apartments per company standards.
• Walk the property daily to ensure curb appeal and quality of apartments.
• Notify the Community Manager of any safety concerns and participate in safety meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of all tasks completed.
• Carry out all maintenance aspects of the community in the Maintenance Supervisor’s absence, including scheduling staff and vendors, ordering new supplies, and working with the Community Manager on additional improvements.
• Complete all service requests in accordance with company standards.
