Job summary

Hilltop Residential in Austin, Texas, is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to inspect vacated apartments, complete make-readies, and handle work orders to meet Hilltop's high standards. This is a full-time on-site role in a fast-growing company.

Candidates should have at least 1+ year of hands-on maintenance experience, be able to work weekends with rotating on-call duties, hold a valid driver’s license, and be prepared to assist with painting and grounds upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• EPA license is a plus; HVAC certification recommended.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make ready checklists.
• Complete make readies to standards set forth by Hilltop Residential.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Must be able to paint.
• Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
