Job summary

Hilltop Residential is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacated apartments and maintain common areas at Platform Grant Park. The role requires hands-on maintenance work and the ability to meet high standards for clean and ready units.

The ideal candidate has at least 1+ year of maintenance experience, can work weekends, and may hold an EPA license. A valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is required, and Hilltop may assist with certification timing for the right hire.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation.
• EPA license is a plus; certification may be supported for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make ready checklists.
• Complete make readies to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Process work orders and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant units for damage to walls, doors, fixtures, and plumbing.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.

Essential Responsibilities

• Inspect vacated apartments and complete make ready checklists.
• Complete make readies equal to the standards set forth by Hilltop Residential.
• Complete assigned work orders and ensure compliance to Hilltop Residential standards.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Inspect vacant apartments for damage to walls, doors, blinds, lights, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance program and maintain property equipment.
• Must be able to paint.
• Assist in keeping grounds neat and free of litter.
