Tipton Asset Group in Plano, TX is seeking a hands-on Make Ready Specialist responsible for apartment turns, routine maintenance, and timely responses to resident service requests. You will perform basic repairs, cleaning, and site upkeep to ensure a safe, welcoming community for current and prospective residents.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of apartment maintenance or groundskeeping experience.

• At least 1 year of apartment maintenance, make-ready, or groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete routine maintenance and repair tasks.

• Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, climbing, and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.

Our Make Ready Specialists play a critical role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming community for our current and future residents. As a Make-Ready Specialist, you’ll support the day-to-day maintenance operations of the apartment community, complete apartment turns, respond to service needs, and help maintain the overall appearance of the property.
