Job summary

The Tipton Group in Irving, TX is seeking a Make Ready Technician to ensure apartments are turnover-ready and well-maintained for new residents. You will support day-to-day maintenance and general upkeep across the community.

You will assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting, respond to 24-hour emergencies, perform grounds work, and collaborate with residents and staff to uphold service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• At least six months make-ready/groundskeeper experience.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing turnovers/make-readies of vacant units.
• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Complete grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
• Assist with maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative tasks.

Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:
