Make Ready/Porter - Maintenance Technician (College Station, TX)

Responsibilities
  1. Inspection and Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units to identify maintenance and repair needs. Assess the condition of walls, ceilings, floors, fixtures, appliances, and other components. Document damages or issues and report findings to management.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Perform maintenance tasks such as repairing or replacing drywall, baseboards, doors, and trim; patching and painting walls and ceilings; repairing or replacing flooring; installing or repairing fixtures; addressing plumbing and electrical issues; ensuring appliances are operational.
  3. Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and sanitize surfaces, remove debris, clean windows, blinds, screens, and ensure floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed. Make sure all areas are clean and presentable.
  4. Final Inspection: Conduct a walkthrough to ensure all tasks are completed to standards. Address any remaining issues or touch-ups.
  5. Communication and Coordination: Communicate with property management and leasing staff regarding unit readiness, coordinate with maintenance team, and report supply needs or malfunctions.
  6. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies at all times.
