Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Make Ready Maintenance Technician to join the on-site operations team at Irene Woods Apartments in Collierville, TN. The role focuses on restoring vacant homes to market-ready status and meeting move-in deadlines.

You will perform drywall repairs, painting, caulking, appliance and fixture repairs, and basic carpentry while maintaining professional communication with residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance including drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, appliance repair, and HVAC preferred but training may be provided.
• Ability to perform drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting to restore market-ready units.
• Proficiency with basic computer tasks and willingness to learn software or apps used by management.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all vacant apartment homes are restored to market-ready status
• Completing full vacant turn process in a timely manner to meet move-in deadlines including drywall repairs, painting, caulking and grouting
• Repair or replace appliances, faucets, garbage disposals, entry locks, windows; carpentry and ceramic tile installation
• Completing administrative paperwork as necessary
• Assisting with snow and ice removal, as required
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
