Job summary

Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Georgetown is seeking a Make Ready / Car Washer to prepare vehicles for customer delivery. You will clean, detail, and perform make-ready tasks to ensure vehicles are showroom-ready.

Responsibilities include washing, interior cleaning, inspecting for issues, applying decals, and ensuring all fluids and accessories are functional. This role supports a high-volume dealership in Georgetown, TX, with company training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening.
• Authorization to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Details the vehicle by cleaning new and used vehicles including washing exterior and vacuuming interiors.
• Perform detailed cleaning and spot stain removal of upholstery, rugs and exteriors.
• Inspect vehicle interior and exterior thoroughly.
• Verify all accessories and options are functional (install if needed).
• Remove shipping materials from the vehicle.
• Set radio, clock, fuel economy readings, etc.
• Apply dealership decals.
• Check and add fluids and fill fuel tank as needed.
• Test drive vehicle and deliver vehicle packet with keys labeled.
• Meet customer service standards by achieving CSI scores.
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe equipment or incidents.
• Understand and comply with regulations affecting service operations (hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know).
• Safeguard dealership assets and customer data.
• Complete required training via company portal.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices to uphold the dealership brand.
• Other duties as assigned.

Make Ready / Car Washer

The Make Ready / Car Washer readies and details the vehicle for customer delivery. The Make Ready Car Wash tech is responsible for vehicle cleaning and detailing as well as overall make-ready preparation for customer delivery.

Skills / Qualities Preferred Include:

• Make Ready experience preferred, but not required
• Auto Detailing / Cleaner experience required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Details the vehicle by cleaning new and used vehicles including washing vehicle exterior and vacuuming vehicle interiors.
• Perform detailed cleaning, as needed, of interior and exterior of vehicle including spot stain removal of upholstery, rugs and exterior surfaces; use special purposes cleaners and agents for desired results.
• Inspect vehicle interior and exterior thoroughly.
• Verify all accessories and options are functional (install if needed)
• Remove any shipping materials left on or in vehicle.
• Set radio, clock, compass, fuel economy readings, etc.
• Apply Mac Haik decals.
• Check and add all fluids as necessary.
• Fill fuel tank to designated levels.
• Test drive vehicle.
• Deliver vehicle packet to designee with keys labeled with location and mileage.
• Meet customer service standards by achieving ‘above district’ customer service information “CSI” scores.
• Follow established safety protocols; report any shop equipment in improper working condition; immediately report safety incidents.
• Understand, keep informed of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know.
• Safeguard dealership assets and customer data.
• Complete required training assigned through the company training portal.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
• Other duties as assigned.
