Ascension Commercial Real Estate LLC in Houston seeks a hands-on Maintenance/Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant units for rent. You will patch drywall, paint, install fixtures, and perform basic plumbing and electrical checks to ensure move-in readiness on schedule.

This on-site role requires lifting, driving for materials, and following a make-ready worksheet to meet projected completion dates.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment make-ready or general maintenance.
• Working knowledge of drywall, paint, and basic plumbing and electrical.
• Able to lift and move materials and stay on your feet.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant units to rent-ready condition on schedule.
• Patch and repair sheetrock; prep and paint walls, ceilings, and trim.
• Resurface tubs and counters; replace fixtures, hardware, and blinds.
• Install and check appliances; complete flooring prep and punch-out repairs.
• Confirm plumbing, electrical, and HVAC basics are working.
• Complete a final detail clean and walk each unit before it leases.
• Work from the make-ready worksheet to hit projected completion dates.
