Job summary

TIPTON ASSET GROUP is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Make-Ready) based in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on turnovers and make-readies of vacant units, with on-call 24-hour maintenance support and basic grounds work.

You will assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance while upholding professional communication with residents and staff. A High School diploma and tradable experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least one year of make‑ready/groundskeeper experience.
• Own tools available.
• Professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

About this position

Location: Dallas, TX – Oaklawn/Uptown

Role: Maintenance Technician (Make‑Ready)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing turnovers/make‑readies of vacant units
• Be on‑call for 24‑hour maintenance emergencies
• Complete grounds work such as trash pick‑up and light landscaping
• Assist with various maintenance tasks: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative

Schedule: Monday – Friday; on‑call 24‑hour emergencies.

Salary: $22–$24 per hour.
