Job summary

Invo Healthcare is seeking a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) for a part-time, school-based IMPACT project in Waianae, HI. The role focuses on supporting youth with ACEs through evidence-based interventions and collaboration with families and school teams.

The candidate should hold a Hawaii CSAC certification, a relevant master’s degree, and ideally LMHC/LMFT/LCSW licensure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and background clearances are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling or related field required.
  • Current Hawaii CSAC certification required.
  • LMHC/LMFT/LCSW license preferred.
  • Experience with adolescents in school-based settings preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group counseling to students.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies including CBT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing and Seeking Safety.
  • Collaborate with families, educators and school staff to support student success.
  • Maintain clinical documentation compliant with Hawaii regulations and school district policies.
  • Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral stabilization as needed.
  • Participate in IEP/504 and student support meetings when appropriate.

Invo is a leading provider of behavioral health, mental health, and therapy services in schools, centers, and communities nationwide.
