Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is looking for compassionate in-person caregivers to support seniors at home in Winfield, IL. We value kindness, reliability, and strong communication to help clients stay safe and independent.

We offer paid training, flexible schedules, weekly pay, direct deposit, and benefits including health insurance. Full-time or part-time shifts with mileage between clients are available.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of home care experience (preferred).
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Ability to follow care plans and document care activities.
• Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and assistance with mobility.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, and routine activities.
• Support clients with exercises and therapy as prescribed.
• Shop for groceries or accompany to stores as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report incidents to Care Coordinator and follow care plans.
• Respond promptly in emergencies and ensure client safety.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full‑time or part‑time.
